Moldova visa types

Moldova allows foreigners from certain countries to visit Moldova for tourism or business purposes without a Moldova visa, often based on bilateral agreements. However, foreigners from other countries need to obtain a visa from the embassy of their country of residence or online eVisa.
There are the following types of visas issued by the Republic of Moldova:

  2. Transit visa (type B)

Moldova E-visa 

The Moldova eVisa is a PDF-format entry permit for Moldova. The Moldova eVisa provides the same right to enter Moldova as a normal passport visa sticker. Only the short-stay type C visa can be obtained online. To obtain a Type A, B, D visa, you must apply through a Moldovan embassy or consulate. 

A tourist visa to Moldova is intended for third-country nationals who intend to travel to the Republic of Moldova for tourism purposes.

The right to invite foreigners is granted to individuals permanently or temporarily residing in the Republic of Moldova, who have turned 18 years old and have full legal capacity, with the exception of foreigners arriving for studies or medical treatment, as well as to legal entities registered in the Republic of Moldova as provided by law.
